| Here is an improved version of the tune for this dance which I adapted from Vivaldi’s music when I first published it (mainly I deleted two bars of music to bring the A and B parts to conclusions). To real musicians, it has apparently been clear that I did not know exactly what I was doing. While the tune was being recorded for New Friends, the musicians did a careful job of correcting things to get the harmonies and note choices right. I am indebted to them and particularly to Margaret Ann Martin for helping me get it all documented properly. |
